Tax Time

Jessica drew this for me the other night as I fought my way through my taxes. It's pretty much the best income tax-related drawing ever.

4:21 PM Jessica: Perfume quote of the day "This smells like dill pickles floating in Mr. Bubble on me."
4:33 PM I think I may have read you that quote before. Anyhoo, I love you and I will see you soon (maybe after Target)

Cats, Cats, Cats!!

I kind of love the Google Voice call widget "Example of usage." image.

Viva la Photoshop

Sometime in 1997 I started playing around with a copy of Photoshop 4 a friend of mine had downloaded off a "warez" site. That moment kicked-off a very specific chain of events that has shaped my entire professional career. If things hadn't happened the way they did, I would likely never have learned anything about graphic design, web development or software programming. I pay for my software now, and for whatever it's worth, I thank you Adobe.

Tonight You Belong To Me

Tonight You Belong To Me by Justin Driscoll

I ordered a cheap ukulele off Amazon and it arrived today. This is the first song I learned to play.

The iPad

I will buy one, probably as soon as it's available.
I will most likely buy the $499 model as I can only really see myself
using this around the house where I can stream most of my media
anyway.
I will be very happy to see a good selection of non-fiction available,
either in the iBook store or available through specific apps.
I will briefly be upset when they release the next model before I
remember I almost never need a web cam.
I will be disappointed if multitasking isn't in the next OS release.

"Is this how you spell retribution? Never mind."

I always feel at least slightly cheated after a visit to the vet. I've never met one that was up front about what things cost.

Mac Tip Of The Day

You can drag and drop files from the Trash into a Terminal window to see the full path. This is most helpful when a specific file or folder doesn't want to be emptied.

A Snowballs Chance...

Now my already cluttered desk has one more thing on it for the cats to knock over. At least it sounds fantastic.
